Frequently Asked Questions

1. How long do we spend Cave Tubing?

Approximately, 45 minutes to 1.5 hours depending on the activities you have chosen for the day.

2. How many zip lines are done?

A total of 7 lines are done. This includes the test line wand the longest line which is 1000 feet.

3. Is this tour guided?

Yes, all our tours are guided by a BTB licensed guide/operator and our Tikal Tours are joined by a Guatemalan licensed tour guide.

4. Are Park Fees included?

Park Fees are not included as they must be paid cash onsite at the reserves/place of activity.

5. Are any beverages provided?

Yes, we provide drinking water, sodas, and a few beers on the way back.

6. How often are the tours done?

Tours are done any day as long as we meet our minimum requirement of 2 persons.

7. Are any discounts provided?

We do provide group discounts, kindly contact us directly for more information.

8. What does the tour include?

Tours include round-trip transportation, pick up and drop off, continental breakfast, lunch, drinks, gear and the guided tour itself.

9. What should I wear?

Comfortable clothing in terms of the activities you will be doing. Such as tennis shoes, t-shirt/blouse, shorts, socks (for ATM Caves) and it is always nice to bring along and extra change of clothing.

10. What is the time of departure & return?

Most tours done by sea depart at 6am return at approximately 6pm. If done by air, they depart at 7am with an approximate return at 5pm. This will all depend on what activities you choose to do.

11. How many people go on this tour?

We require a minimum of 2 persons to confirm a tour, however, we can accommodate up to 12 persons in a van. For groups of 12 or more, contact us directly to see how we can arrange to best accommodate your group.

12. How long do most of the tours take?

Most yours are about 9 to 12 hours long, depending on the activities you do and mode of transportation you choose.

13. What is the difference between sea or air?

Choosing to go by air, you can leave a but later (if that is your preference) and the flight is approximately 20 to 25 minutes.

14. Are cameras allowed?

You can bring along your camera on most of our activities, except for the ATM Caves and Our Jungle Zip Line.
